2019 Sneak Peek: Events...
Here's the scoop for the week of March 24th:
Our sneak peek into this year's Monroe County Fair is: Our 4-H Clubs are making sure that there will be farm animals in our fair barns all throughout the fair: from the first weekend through the following Saturday morning! They have also publicly posted their calendar. Access that calendar here. Thank you so much, 4-H! We LOVE seeing you and your animals and projects at the Fair!
Remember: if you have ideas for a great event, food booth, or other vendor that you would like to see at the fair, you can e-mail us and let us know! We are still actively looking for fun things to see and do during this year's fair and we are always open to suggestions. Please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
See you at the fair!

Get Your Projects Ready for the 2019 Fair!
Even as Southern Indiana tries to decide if spring is on the way, your Monroe County Fair Board of Directors is busy editing, revising, and writing your 2019 Monroe County Fair guide to all things related to the fair, the "Fair Book."
Now is the time to decide what projects you, a friend, or a family member might want to enter into this summer's Fair. Although our 2019 Fair Book guide isn't in print yet, linked here and below is the 2018 Fair Book and it will likely be very similar to the one we create for this year. It can give you a good idea of what categories a project should fall under, as well as the general guidelines for entering projects.
REMEMBER: You don't have to be a child, nor a member of 4-H, to enter projects into the Fair! The Community Building and its patio are filled with projects, flowers, and fruits and vegetables from Monroe County residents of ALL ages- just like you- every year. Make 2019 the year YOU try your hand at winning a blue ribbon at the Fair! Who knows? Maybe those baby booties, or that painting, or your famous apple pie, or your tomatoes will be the one chosen to be Grand Champion! You never know until you try! See you and your projects at the Fair!
Parking: At this time, parking is expected to be $5/carload, starting at noon each day. Weekly passes are available for just $20 and get you in and out as often as you please all week long.
